The UTM Link Builder helps you create correctly tagged campaign links without typing parameters by hand. Find it in Marketing > UTM Tracker > UTM Link Builder.
Building a link
- Website URL – enter the destination address for your campaign (for example a product or landing page).
- Source – identify where the traffic comes from, e.g.
google,facebook,newsletter. - Medium – identify the channel, e.g.
cpc,email,social,banner. - Campaign – name the specific campaign, e.g.
summer-sale. - Content (optional) – tell similar links apart, e.g.
logolinkvstextlink. - Click Generate URL. Your tagged link appears, ready to Copy URL.
Using your link
Paste the generated URL into your ad, email, social post, or anywhere else you promote your store. When visitors click it, the source, medium, campaign, and content are captured automatically and attached to any order they place.
Tips for consistent reports
- Use lowercase values and stick to one spelling.
Facebookandfacebookare counted separately. - Pick a small, fixed set of mediums (for example cpc, email, social) and reuse them everywhere.
- Keep campaign names descriptive and dated, e.g.
