Points and Rewards Menu Overview

After activating the plugin, you’ll notice several new sections under the Points & Rewards admin menu. Here’s what each one does:

  • Dashboard: View all points activity, including earned points, redemptions, expirations, and manually imported points. You can also filter by user, activity type, and date range.
  • Members: View and manage your loyalty members. You can import/export member points via CSV and manually adjust balances.
  • Points & Rewards
    • Setup: Define how customers earn points and how they can redeem them for rewards. This includes setting points per action, reward titles, coupon types, and restrictions.
    • Settings: Control when points are awarded (based on order status), whether to include tax or sale items, assign points to guest users, and set a coupon code prefix.
  • Display Settings
    • General Settings: Customize points expiration settings, points naming (branding), and add social media links used in earning actions.
    • Landing Page: Customize the layout and styling of the [WPGENS_POINTS_PAGE] shortcode, including colors, titles, and descriptions shown in the customer’s “My Account” area and wherever you decide to use the shortcode.
  • Emails: Configure automated emails for point expiry and reward redemption.
    • Points Expiry Warning Email: Notifies customers 30 days before their points expire.
    • Reward Redeemed Email: Confirms when a customer has redeemed a reward and includes their reward code, points spent, and remaining balance.
  • Integrations: Connect to third-party platforms like Klaviyo to sync customer points data and create personalized marketing flows.

Each section plays a crucial role in building a successful loyalty program.
